Bible Text: Luke 24:1-12 | The hope of Jesus’ resurrection takes time to develop, even for the first witnesses. They are presented with signs that seem obvious in hindsight, and they get visited by angels who state the situation plainly, but when one is in darkness, it is hard to adjust to seeing the light. So let us be patient with others who have heard but not been grasped by the hope of Christ, and let us be forbearing with ourselves who struggle to live with Christ’s life in us. Yet let us come to understand that with regard to hope and life and Easter… it could be, it might be, it can’t be, IT IS… It’s Jesus!
