Bible Text: John 6:25-60 | In advent, we’ll be hearing Jesus’ words from the gospel of John about who is “I am.” This week, Jesus states that He is the “bread of life.” His first hearers miss the point because they’re looking only for what they think they want. What do you want when you approach God? Or come to church? Or try to be a spiritual person? Are you sure it’s what you actually need? Are you sure it’s what God actually offers?
